Ender's Game
Maybe you have heard of it? Well, in case you haven't, Ender's Game is a really good book. It pales, however, in comparison to its three sequels: Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, and Children of the Mind. Those three books are some of my favorite books of all time. Anyway, the reason I am mentioning it is because another book is coming out. It takes place between the original and the three subsequent books. I am extremely excited for it. If you haven't read the series, go. Now. Go read them.

Another Other Note
So I spontaneously decided to format my desktop and install a new OS. Normally, this is a perfectly reasonable undertaking. Except, of course, if the OS in question is Window Vista. Everything went swimmingly up until the point where it came time to format the hard drive and start installing. After formatting my partition, Vista informed me that the partition did not meet criteria. O RLY? Didn't I just format it to NTFS? So as I write, I am installing XP again, and will probably try to do an upgrade. What makes me sad is that I had less trouble installing Linux and setting up the dual-booting...
On Another Note
I guess I will be the one to keep this from being a video game only blog and talk about other stuff. If you haven't heard of it, go check out lala.com. Its a really cool website that lets you stream your music library and has a bunch of other cool features. You can sign up for free so its worth a look.
Left 4 Dead, Mirror's Edge
So, I might be able to get the demo for both games on the same day. My head is probably going to explode. And our xbox hard drive is 99% full, so we'll have to clean house. Humorously, the demo date for both games was announced through the gaming industry's most reliable and authoritative source: GameStop's online store. The holiday rush has begun in earnest, Fallout 3 is ordered, securing its place as the first nail in the coffin of our studies this winter.
